Our commitment to ethical production means we pay fair wages and ensure safe, respectful working conditions. We value transparency and prioritize relationships that honor the cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and wellbeing of our artisan partners.

  • Yes, sustainability is a core value at Baan de Sol. While not all of our materials are certified organic, all of our products are handmade using sustainable fabrics (organic when possible), and we provide detailed care instructions to help preserve their quality and longevity, further reducing waste and promoting slow fashion.

  • We create pieces for all bodies and have designed our sizing using a 0–4 guide. Rather than traditional numbered sizing, our approach focuses on how a garment feels and flows on you. Each size reflects our vision of the perfect fit—one that steers clear of rigid numbers and embraces comfort, movement, and confidence.

  • At this time, Baan de Sol does not accept returns or offer refunds. However, exchanges are available. To request an exchange, email hello@baandesol.com within 7 days of receiving your order with "Exchange Request" in the subject line. Items must be returned in their original, undamaged condition and packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Orders are fulfilled within 1–3 business days. Shipping typically takes an additional 7–10 days. All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. Baan de Sol currently does not offer international shipping.

  • Because our pieces are handmade using sustainable fabrics, we recommend the following care:

    • Hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent

    • Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals

    • Do not wring or twist the fabric

    • Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out water

    • Hang to dry in shaded areas

    • Iron on low heat while slightly damp using a pressing cloth if needed

  • We accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna.
